Dean screaming at cat. This is part of a three-part series on the challenges of parenting.
I thought of that when I read a recent story about a baby who was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. One of the other parents asked the medical staff if they had other tests to try.
There were two problems with that idea. First, if there were other tests to try, the hospital would tell you about them. If you have a new piece of equipment that might help you understand the baby better, don’t you think the hospital would offer that? The other thing is that if there were other tests to try, the only thing I would know about them is what the doctors told me. If there was another test, I wouldn’t have had any information about it.
A couple of weeks ago, I came across this article about a family where the mom was pregnant with twins, only one of which was female. On the ultrasound, they found that one of the girls had a problem with her heart and lungs. That is called Trisomy 18, and it is one of the most rare forms of Down Syndrome. The doctor didn’t know what to do about the problem.
I’m no doctor, but that sounds like a pretty complicated diagnosis. How did the doctor know how to treat it? Well, we have a word for that. It’s called research. Medical doctors know what’s good for babies with Trisomy 18 because they have been studying them for years. They understand what the symptoms are, and they have come up with a solution.
In other words, when we talk about the “medical community,” we’re talking about scientists. They are working to find things out. I’m not a scientist, but I do love to study about things. I have a degree in biochemistry, which is about chemicals and how they work. It is also about science. And scientists need an example, and the reason we know the doctor was able to cure the baby girl was because of all the research.
When we talk about the Christian fth, we’re talking about the same thing. When we say we’re Christians, we’re talking about people who love to learn. We’re learning about God’s amazing love for us. We’re learning about his power and his mercy. We’re trying to understand how he works in our lives and what it means for us.
We’re learning about what the Bible says about God’s love and forgiveness. And we’re using the Bible to study and to learn.
I’m pretty sure most of us have heard of the “medical community” or the “science community” or “the Christian community.” Most of us understand what is meant by them. But, the “Christian” community is a whole other thing, and we’re talking about it today.
So, I’ll show you, today, what that community is all about.
It’s a community of people who love learning and are excited about studying God’s Word. There are things that are important to them, and those things they use to get to know God better and to show him his love.
They love to study and to do research. It helps them understand things about God and how they can relate that to their lives.
It’s a community that’s always learning more about God and more about his amazing love for us.
So, I’d like you to tell me, what do you think about “the Christian community?”

Here’s something that I thought you might like. These are songs that I feel were put together to help you celebrate the coming of the Messiah. And I think there are a lot of interesting things about the Messiah that we can look at and think about and sing about. I thought they’d be fun.
This month marks the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Israeli Declaration of Independence. On May 14, 1948, the country established the State of Israel. The nation was established after it had been defeated by a number of Arab nations, including Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. That defeat had come as a result of its war with the Arab nation of Transjordan in 1947.
The declaration of independence brought to an end a history of hundreds of years in which there was no nation of Israel. In the 17th century, the Jewish people were expelled from several European countries. In 1648, the First Treaty of Westphalia ended the Thirty Years War, which began when Charles I of the Kingdom of Bohemia was crowned king of the Holy Roman Empire in 1556. During that war, the Protestant nations of Europe fought the Catholic Holy Roman Empire and its allies for supremacy.
The first half of the 17th century saw the rise of the Protestant Reformation in Europe. In 1517, Martin Luther posted his Ninety-Five Theses challenging the power of the Pope. The result was the beginning of the Reformation.
The war between the Catholics and Protestants was waged between the Protestants of Europe and their Roman Catholic opponents. It resulted in an increasingly Catholic Europe, which sought to suppress the Protestant Reformation. That persecution led to the execution of thousands of Protestants, including the philosopher, theologian, and statesman John Calvin. The conflict lasted until 1648, when a peace treaty was signed at Westphalia. It ended the Thirty Years’ War.
In May of 1648, Charles I, King of the Kingdom of Bohemia, married the daughter of King Ferdinand II of the Holy Roman Empire. However, a few months later, Ferdinand was expelled from the
